I received the mini jump-start combo promptly. Although it had a minor problem (the 8 LEDs did not all function properly), when I contacted the manufacturer directly, they quickly replaced the unit.
I purchased the jump starter to provide an emergency 12 volt power source as well as a portable power unit for a jump-start, should the occasion arise. I have used the 12 volt source and it functions well. I have not had an opportunity to use the jump-start capability, so I can't comment. Hopefully if and when I need it, it will be there for me.

I bought one of these and it worked-not once. I would have sent it back as it was under warranty but the manufacturer cleverly decided that a sales receipt was not enough-they wanted the upc code off the box which was impossible since it had been sent in for a rebate. Why do the insist on the UPC code when they have the actual item in hand? So they can shirk the warranty of course as not many people hold on to that little piece of cardboard. And brother, would they be repairing a lot of these non-jump starters. I pulled the battery from the inside of the unit and it wouldn't hold a charge for nothing. If you already bought one , don't wait for an emergency situation to use it-You might find yourself trying to jump your vehicle from an empty piece of red plastic. The battery manufacturer is Yaoming which even Google had never heard of.
